They are subjected to a specific filtration process to reduce the oil content to amounts that are less than 1% by weight. These paraffins are used for the manufacture of candles, hot melt, industrial textiles, agricultural grafts, etc., and also for applications where there is contact with food.
Semi-refined paraffins

Their grades have fusion points that range from 40 to 80 ºC and oil percentages that are higher than 1% by weight.
They are used for panels, as a waterproofer, candles, fertilizers, for the manufacture of anti-caking agents or waterproofers, and compounds for cables.
