We drive the industrial transformation

We have one of the most efficient refining systems in Europe, capable of processing a wide variety of raw materials and waste for product manufacturing.

In the Industrial area, we have the challenge of converting our industrial complexes into multi-energy centers, competitive and efficient, capable of developing renewable fuels and low- or zero-carbon footprint differentiated materials."

Our most important projects

One of the main pillars of our road map is industrial sector development, which is so important for job creation and in terms of environmental impact.

  • Renewable fuels

The Cartagena plant is the only one fully dedicated to the production of fuels of 100% renewable origin. Renewable fuels are a boost to the circular economy by manufacturing waste-based products with a low carbon footprint.

  • Renewable hydrogen

The push for renewable energy has brought us renewable hydrogen, a major player in the future of energy and one that will be vitally important in the decarbonization of sectors such as industry and heavy-duty transport.

  • Alternative raw materials

Our historic strategic alliance with Bunge ensures our access to the growing demand for raw materials with lower carbon intensity, thereby increasing and boosting the production of renewable fuels.
