Thanks to the agreement with Down España and other associations from the different communities such as Down Cádiz, A toda vela, Down Sevilla, Fundown Murcia, Down Coruña, and Fundación Síndrome Down and other intellectual disabilities in the Basque Country, we can count on professionals who fill us with energy and strengthen our conviction to offer equal opportunities that give us different views and provide us with added value.
We believe in people and drive both their development and that of their social surroundings. Our equal opportunities guarantee is part of what sets us apart as an integrated, diverse, and inclusive company.
In 2019, we joined REDI, an association of businesses and professionals whose common goal is to foster an inclusive and respectful environment in organizations that value talent regardless of their gender identity, gender expression, or sexual orientation. We have been on the Board of Directors since 2021.
Repsol has signed the Women's Empowerment Principles (WEP), established by UN Women and the UN Global Impact. The WEPs are based on international human rights and labor standards and are based on the recognition that companies have an interest in and a responsibility for gender equality and women's empowerment.
Its core mission is to join forces, seek synergies, and promote concrete initiatives that contribute to shaping an education and training system that eliminates gender stereotypes and empower women in STEAM disciplines in the early stages of their education. It also seeks to help close the gender gap, which enables young women to access these disciplines in the national and international context.
Recognition of the right of people with disabilities to work on an equal basis with others; this includes the right to work in an environment that is open, inclusive, and accessible.
Gender Parity Task Forces generate collaborations between public and private sector stakeholders with the capacity to bring more women into the economy.
We are part of the Spanish Institute of Women and Gender Equality's Empresas por una sociedad Libre de Violencia de Género (Companies for a society free from gender-based violence) initiative, which raises awareness of gender violence and promotes the integration of female victims into society and the workplace.
