Main levers for decarbonization

15-20 GW of renewable generation capacity as a target by 2030 and 9-10 GW by 2027.

1.6–1.8 million tons of renewable fuel production capacity in the iberian peninsula by 2030.

1.9 GWeq of net renewable hydrogen capacity by 2030 and 0.55 GWeq by 2025.

Reduction in carbon intensity of E&P of <15 kg CO₂e/boe by 2023 and to 10 kg CO₂e/boe by 2027.

Camisea, an example of community protection

Repsol holds a 10% stake in the consortium that operates this block in Peru. Since the beginning of our involvement, we have worked intensely with our partners to improve our human rights performance, as it's a sensitive area located near the Kugapakori-Nahua-Nanti Reserve.

Repsol has shared its entire knowledge on the processes to be followed in areas with indigenous presence, especially in the cases of communities in voluntary isolation or first contact. Our regulations stipulate that in those operations in which Repsol doesn't have management control, we'll inform our partners of these policies and make all our knowledge and strategies available to them to achieve the corresponding goals.
