Lubricantes de calidad a partir de bases regeneradas
We are leaders in applying circular economy principles in our lubricants business. Therefore, we transform products like used oils into new raw materials or base oils in order to manufacture new lubricants that have the same quality and functionality as traditional lubricants.
By incorporating regenerated raw materials into the manufacturing of new lubricants, we can decrease the amount of virgin feedstock we use that's derived from fossil sources and extend the useful life of used oils.
In this way, we are able to commercialize products that contribute to lowering our carbon footprint, and at the same time, strengthen our commitment to sustainability and to our customers, who increasingly demand more sustainable products.
Thanks to innovation, we can manufacture more efficient, environmentally-friendly products, which brings us closer to meeting our ambition of becoming a net zero emissions company by 2050.
The resulting product, in addition to complying with stringent quality control standards, provides the following benefits:
Fuels from urban waste
We recover leftover energy from urban waste that has reached the end of its useful life in order to produce fuels.
We obtain new polyolefins from recycled materials, while guaranteeing top quality and functionality.
We bring renewable energy generation to the point of consumption by creating solar communities.
Drilling mud management
We transform drilling mud waste into new fuels by applying thermal desorption techniques.
We transform plastic waste into circular polyolefins that feature the same quality and functionality of virgin materials.
Waste treatment in exploration and production operations
We apply bioremediation and compost techniques to make use of waste.
Reusing asset equipment
We extend the useful life of our asset equipment by reusing it in our own operations or those of other companies.
Reusing water from urban wastewater treatment plants
We reuse water from urban wastewater treatment plants to reduce the amount of fresh water consumed.
