Sustainable extenders for the rubber industry
In 2022, we launched Bioextensoil 2021 as a sign of our commitment to sustainability and in response to our customers' demands for a more sustainable range of oils. The production process of these bioextenders uses waste vegetable streams, providing circularity to the product. Our plant in Palencia already has the ISCC Plus voluntary certification granted by Control Union.
Bioextenders are process oils for rubber obtained 100% from sustainable non-mineral sources with low polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon (PCA) and very low-sulfur content that meet quality standards, which provide high performance to the final application.
Due to their special nature, bioextenders are especially indicated for the formulation of tire parts that require a high glass transition temperature and guarantees high braking performance. As such, we promote industrial symbiosis by providing circular and innovative solutions to the tire industry.
