Solar communities
When the sun comes out
Four protagonists. Four ways to tackle the day. And an energy that connects them. The energy of the Sun.
When the sun comes out is the story of four people, Natalia, Faustino, Manuel, and Alfonso, whose lives are connected thanks to the solar communities in the region of El Condado in Jaén.
We have developed a collective, self-consumption project in the localities of this area in collaboration with public institutions. These institutions provide the roofs of schools, health centers, etc. for the installation of solar panels. Thanks to them, the energy they produce "travels" to nearby homes and businesses where neighbors can use it without having to make any additional installations.
An initiative that helps our neighbors to save and consume in a sustainable way, and will help us to become a net zero emissions company by 2050 and meet our decarbonization targets, while at the same time contributing to a more sustainable and responsible energy consumption model.
