  • The discovery, located in the Boquerón field, will produce an estimated 6,500 barrels of oil in 2019, equivalent to more than 120% of the current production of crude oil in the country.
  • The expected investment in the development of the field is around $200 million and includes the drilling of up to 25 new wells in the first quarter of 2016.
  • The Boquerón 4D well reached a total depth of 3,237 meters, with a flow rate of 700 barrels of oil per day in initial tests.
