I did forest engineering, an industrial specialty, at the Polytechnic University of Madrid and I did a master's degree in energy resources at the University of Texas at Austin.

I am currently in the Hydrogen Directorate in Business Development, dealing with market intelligence and business development issues, and I was previously in Corporate Strategy.

Knowing that these projects go ahead, that they have specific partners that have a specific name, a specific design is the most interesting thing for me. The most important thing is to identify what your passion is so you can map out the plan that will lead you to meet your goals.

My work has three legs, fundamentally. A first of market intelligence, which is the analysis of energy markets -both traditional and low carbon-, which is the previous step to the second leg; which would be business development, which is to bring that market intelligence to reality. And finally, all of the above fits on the third leg, which would be the hydrogen strategy, which in turn fuels the low carbon strategy and the Repsol group strategy.

I studied advertising and public relations. After studying that I specialized in user experience design, in digital design. It has as much to do with the design of digital solutions; of web applications, as the design of physical experiences; for example, what the service station of the future should look like, what you should find when you arrive, what your experience should be when you come into contact with the brand with Repsol or with employees. That then you go out and people are using the products that you're thinking about, that you're designing. I'm among them.

It has to be someone, above all, curious who likes to ask, who is not satisfied with what he sees, who is able to listen to complex problems and not get scared, okay, to gradually break things down, and who is able to work as a team, especially. As a team, and also teams of multidisciplinary people. Well, do not lose that curiosity and you will always have to be learning new things, little by little, take a base of all that branch that you like and go deeper without hurry, that this has a long way to go.

I studied aerospace engineering at the Polytechnic of Valencia and then I did a Master's Degree in Competition, which is called in MotoSport, aimed at entering a Formula 1 team and, well, then I went back to Spain to do a PhD in Propulsion Systems.

In my work, basically, what we do is study decarbonization options for mobility, especially renewable fuels. And I, in particular, am on a project - which I love to tell you about, which is the MotoGP competition theme - for the Repsol Honda Team. And good for next year we have to make a fuel with 40% renewable content. For me, it's always a challenge, because whenever I get to the office, I don't know exactly how the day is going to turn out, what challenges I'm going to have to face. Being able to see the result of all the work we are doing, because I know that I am developing a product that in a few days will be enjoyed by people at service stations or that I - as a MotoGP fan - will be able to see in races.

Well, I think he has to be a very organized person, especially because of the amount of work we get to have at certain times, and the fact of working as a team. Be a curious person, try to investigate, look for things around that work area you want to focus on, but do not fall asleep.
