We are committed to equal opportunities
The knowledge, experience and time of the mentors and volunteer coaches who accompany them are a key piece to achieve this.

"This initiative has been a wonderful experience for my daughter in which she has had the opportunity to learn with other girls and their mentors key skills for her life: commitment to the project, ability to resolve their differences and reach agreements, public speaking, organizing the work together, presenting a project made by them that they have felt protagonists and proud of the result"

“Wonderful experience for the girls. With only 8 years old, playing and having fun, they have discovered that there are stem careers and maybe a vocation... time will tell. Our mentor has perfectly understood the essence of the program making every week the girls want to meet up to work every Friday. PS: We'll be back!"

"Objective accomplished! This is how I think when I remember what this experience has been for our two daughters. I wanted them to learn to work as a team with girls they did not know, to enjoy and have fun learning things different from what they see in their day to day and to see technology with different eyes, as a useful tool beyond social networks. And what's more, great luck to have one-of-a-kind mentors!”

"I liked it because I learned many new, curious and interesting things."

"I've really enjoyed the experience, I've learned to code and it's been fun to see how things were going. I would like to repeat and continue improving our App. "

"I really liked the whole project, both the programming and the preparation of the presentation, but I was very sorry that there was no more time to present our App at the booth fair."

"It's good to work in a company where you can get away from day-to-day reports and emails; and participate in programs such as the Technovation Girls. It is a satisfaction to see how the girls have been learning to program these months, but it is even more beautiful to see them grow as people and be part of how each one brings their personality to the Project and makes it their own."

"They have come up with ingenious solutions, many of which came from a point of view of fresh ideas and not preconceptions. There have been not a few times when I have been left with my mouth open with the answer they gave to a problem."

"For my part, I have not stopped learning from them during all these months. And if I could sum up all the lessons in one, it would be this: You have to take life less seriously."

Learn about some of our teams from previous years

Polar Star, one of the Repsol Digital Girls teams, has been selected as one of the semi-finalist teams at the national level in the Junior division, with its Nalala project. This application allows you to connect those people who, even after the pandemic, feel alone. With it, memories, stories, photos can be shared...

Demac Power Up, one of the Repsol Digital Girls teams, has been selected as one of the 5 finalists worldwide, representing Spain with its Lazos app in the 2020 global final. An app that connects older people living alone with volunteers and associations. Meet Diana, Elena, Maialen, Ana and Carmen. The Demac Power Up team.

Monica Prieto and Javier Larraona have guided our Repsol Digital Girls in their project (Lazos close to you) from start to finish. Through fun dynamics, they have made Repsol's technological and digital resources available to them, and have guided them in the design and programming of the application. Thus, understanding and executing all the processes has been much easier.
