Diversidad e igualdad

We strive to create an inclusive and respectful environment

The Proud at Repsol Group

Since 2020, we have a group of volunteers who work for a common goal: the equality of the LGBTQI+ group in the workplace, generating a safe space that contributes to the attraction and retention of talent, guaranteeing the well-being of the people of the company and equal opportunities regardless of sex, gender, orientation or sexual identity, in any area and location of the company.

The group is open, voluntary, and includes both members of the LGBTQI+ community and allies who support the same goals. Currently, Proud at Repsol is made up of about 600 people in Spain, Brazil, the United States, Venezuela, Peru, Ecuador, Bolivia, Colombia, Canada and Trinidad and Tobago, as well as people representing different areas of the company. If you would like to contribute to achieving true inclusion for all people, join us at proud@repsol.com.

Encouraging diversity in all our facilities

We promote information and advice points on diversity and inclusion in all our facilities. These points provide specific information on the company's equal opportunities and diversity policies. We also carry out information, educational and advisory activities on LGBTIQ+ equality and diversity in Brazil, the United States, Spain and Portugal.

The maintenance stops of our industrial complexes receive hundreds of people who come to work from different contractor companies. It is an ideal time to raise awareness among our own staff and in our value chain about the company's policies on diversity and the need to act with respect for differences.

The experts who have attended these information points have been the reference entities of each local environment: ALAS A Coruña, HARRO Bilbao Bizkaia, Colectivo GALACTYCO, H2O Tarragona, and WADO Ciudad Real.

We are official sponsors OF MADO 2025

We will participate with different actions such as promoting the organization's float with our 100% renewable fuels or giving away our WiBLE vehicles as the official vehicle OF MADO. In addition, we will have a presence in the different communication supports of the organization, such as the stages located in the center of the city, where our ad and claim "Tu energía es hermosa, déjala salir" ("Your energy is beautiful, let it out ") will be projected.

A committed executive team

We promote diversity management through the Diversity and Inclusion Committee, made up of senior management. This group identifies, promotes and monitors different initiatives related to these issues. The company's commitments to diversity and inclusion are included in the Sustainability Plan and the Strategic Plan.

Initiatives in which we participate

Logo REDI

In 2019, we joined REDI, a Spanish association of businesses and professionals dedicated to the promotion of an inclusive and respectful environment at organizations, where talent is value regardless of gender identity, gender expression, or sexual orientation. And we've been part of their Board of Directors since 2021. We are also part of the core team of REDI to connect employees, a work and networking forum within REDI to connect groups of LGBTI employees and allies of partner companies.
