The Climate Neutrality Strategy developed by the UN in 2007 highlighted the advantages of acting in coordination to achieve greater impact, reduce transaction costs, develop common tools, ensure comparability, and facilitate common decision-making.

We actively join initiatives

Repsol is an active member of the United Nations Global Compact and the IPIECA Executive Committee. It works in this framework to unify how sustainability is integrated into companies’ activities. In this way, we anticipate governments when it comes to adapting our strategy to national regulations.

Renewable fuels support manifesto

In line with the findings of the International Energy Agency's report “Delivering Sustainable Fuels – Pathways to 2035”, published on October 13, 2025, a number of companies from different parts of the global sustainable fuel value chain - Repsol, Air Liquide, BMW, Bosch, Raizen, Navantia, Técnicas Reunidas, Enerkem, Technip Energies, IVECO Group, eni, Alsa, Sesé, Neste, Ryanair, Bioscor, Peterson Solutions, Fuels Europe, eFuel, Crecemos, SHYNE, and Centro Nacional del Hidrógeno, among many others - have signed a manifesto for a shared global vision of sustainable fuels in the energy transition.

Membership in global associations and initiatives

We join forces with a large number of international entities in our aim to meet the growing demand for energy and products while maximizing our contribution to sustainable development.
