We launch our PO / SM technology in China

We have made our commitments in China a reality by starting up the Propylene Oxide (PO) and Styrene Monomer (SM) co-production plant that we license to the Chinese company.

Our Commissioning and Start up team for the project traveled to China at the end of last year and reached the milestone of commissioning the PO / SM plant with unbeatable speed.

After adjusting the operation of the different units of the plant until reaching 100% of the nominal capacity, the Guarantee Test was carried out, demonstrating that the plant complied with the expected productions and product qualities. It is important to highlight that all these milestones have been reached without any relevant impact on Safety and Environment.

The value of our technology and the quality of our technical team has been demonstrated in a project that will undoubtedly launch Repsol's value in China.
