Rafael Jiménez Pascual is an Industrial Engineer who specialized in Mechanical Engineering at Comillas Pontifical University (ICAI).

He joined Repsol Chemicals in 1999 and was in charge of managing the distribution and transportation of chemical products.

In 2008, he was named Director of Logistics and Customer Service, integrating the supply chain with customer service and promoting a customer-focused approach throughout the area.

He became Director of the Polyethylene Business Line in 2013.

In November 2017 he was named Director of the Polyolefins Business Unit at the Chemicals Executive Division. He oversees the marketing and development of the entire polyethylene and polypropylene range and their compounds from Repsol's three petrochemical complexes.

He is currently on the board of Transformadora de Etileno A.I.E.
