Our activity in Africa

Some of the actions in our Upstream activity takes place in African countries such as Algeria, Libya, and Morocco.

We have been present in Algeria since 1973, a strategic region due to its large resource potential and geographical proximity to Spain.
Our first exploration and production activities in Libya date back to the early 70s, with it eventually becoming one of the most important countries in our strategy.
We've been working in Morocco since 2010 through our Lubricants business, where we have an office for the sale and distribution of products.
