Our circular solutions and a finalist project at the Plastics Recycling Awards Europe PRSE 2026
We participated in Europe’s leading plastics recycling trade show, showcasing our Repsol Reciclex® solutions and earning industry recognition with an innovative finalist project at the European awards.
We have just returned from Amsterdam, where we participated in the 10th edition of the Plastics Recycling Show Europe (PRSE), one of the leading international events in the plastics recycling sector. This forum once again provided an opportunity to highlight our commitment to innovation and circularity.
During the event, we hosted a stand where we showcased our broad portfolio of Repsol Reciclex® sustainable polyolefins, developed to meet the growing demand for circular solutions and designed to perform in increasingly demanding industrial applications.
As part of the event, the Plastics Recycling Awards Europe 2026 were held, recognizing the most innovative solutions in the recycling industry. In this edition, a project we developed in collaboration with ENPLAST S.A. and Proquimia S.A. was selected as a finalist in the Plastic Packaging Product of the Year category, representing an important recognition of the joint effort and shared commitment of all partners involved.
This development highlights the value of collaboration across the entire value chain. Working closely with ENPLAST, we contributed to the creation of an advanced ADR-certified container for Proquimia, combining strict technical requirements with high recycled content.
The solution is based on Repsol Reciclex® 70RX5203, which incorporates 70% post-consumer recycled material through mechanical recycling processes, enabling a final packaging solution with 50% recycled content. This milestone represents a significant step forward for applications requiring high safety and performance standards.
In addition, at our stand we showcased various real-life applications developed with Repsol Reciclex® materials, including kefir packaging, cosmetic components, detergent bottles, and our own solutions such as lubricant containers, the NEL butane bottle, and bags used at our service stations.
Through our participation in PRSE 2026, we reaffirm our commitment to the circular economy and to developing innovative solutions.
