Repsol creates a New Energy Business Unit

  • The unit reinforces Repsol’s commitment to developing sustainable energy solutions.
  • Created to research new energy solutions which are economically viable, efficient and sustainable. 
  • The New Energy Business Unit will identify, promote and develop business initiatives including bioenergy, renewable energy linked to Repsol’s ongoing business activities and projects related to the reduction of carbon dioxide.
  • The new unit, dependent on the Downstream Unit, will be headed by Josu Jon Imaz, who will add this responsibility to his post as chairman of Petronor.
