We showcase our product range for the automotive market at Nemmo 2022
We have participated with a stand in the international specialized automotive congress “Nemmo 2022: New materials for the mobility of the future”, that was held in Nantes on July 6 and 7.
During the congress, organized by the SFIP (Société Française des Ingénieurs des Plastiques) and the SIA (Société des Ingénieurs de l'automobile), we presented our lightening solutions for the automotive market, our innovative Repsol Impacto® range for very high impact polypropylene, as well as Repsol Isplen fiberglass compounds. We also share our newest developments for Core-back foaming technology, printed electronics, and circular economy foaming. On this occasion, we have put special focus on explaining to all attendees our recent investments in the automotive industry.
Eva García Biosca, Polyolefin Technical Assistance, and Development Advisor Engineer talked about “Polypropylene films and injection molding resins for In-Mold Structural Electronics (IMSE™).” The IMSE™ is a manufacturing process developed by TactoTek, which innovates in design by integrating electronic functions into complex 3D plastic structures, which can be used for automotive, home automation or appliances, among others. “At Repsol, we have worked to create new polypropylene grades optimized for IMSE™. Its excellent properties allow lower processing temperatures, and weight reduction in parts, which is especially important in the automotive sector.”
