3D printing in pellets is a technology on the rise and more and more companies are considering taking advantage of its advantages. Polypropylene is a material little used in the 3D market, as it presents some challenges when printing. Our company has already worked on them and we currently have a complete catalog of polypropylene for 3D additive manufacturing, designed to meet the most demanding requirements of this market segment. We have organized the webinar "Printing with polypropylene granules: benefits and applications" held on June 22. Our colleague Eva García Biosca from ATD Poliolefinas has been in charge of explaining the opportunities of our polypropylene, which also provides a significant advantage over other materials since it can be sterilized without losing its properties. “It can make final applications with the same materials that are used in the industry. Its characteristics make it suitable, among others, for the food industry and health applications such as medical equipment or spare parts for the dental industry such as guided surgery splints or large-volume suction devices. In addition, some of our products can also be used for skin contact parts, such as prosthetics and orthotics parts."

Invited experts from the sector have also participated in the webinar, such as IT3D, a manufacturer of 3D printing printers, and Lowpoly, digital manufacturing, and 3D printing company that has spoken about the development of polypropylene materials for pellet printing, features, and applications, printing tips, and success stories.
