Repsol named Energy Company of the Year by Platts

  • Platts named Repsol “Energy Company of the Year” for “its swift ability and strategy” demonstrated in dealing with the current scenario of low crude oil prices, and for the transformative growth operation undertaken with the acquisition of Talisman.

  • The Platts judging panel that have selected Repsol out of more than 200 nominees from more than 25 countries, has also recognized “the company`s performance and its ability to add value.”
  • Platts President, Imogen Dillon Hatcher, stated that Repsol is a "brave, swift company that is demonstrating its strategic sense and its capacity to resist." Also, Platts said that since 1999, no company had won three awards in the same year.
  • The prestigious international agency also awarded Repsol the Downstream Industry Leadership Award for the operational excellence of its facilities, and its Executive Managing Director, María Victoria Zingoni as the Rising Star for her career achievements and leadership.
