Our activity in North and South America

We are present in 9 countries, including the United States and Canada, fundamental countries because of their strength in Upstream assets.

We develop operations that encompass oil and natural gas exploration and production activities.

We arrived in Brazil in 1997 as one of the first companies to address the technological and operational challenges in the area.

We mainly focus on the Saint John LNG operations in New Brunswick, with a 100% interest, and on trading.

In 2020, we signed an agreement with Grupo Ibereólica Renovables, which has represented a portfolio of diversified assets.

We have upstream assets and advance in the energy transition with our low-carbon generation and renewable energy activities.

Mexico has a significant amount of hydrocarbons and a long industrial tradition, capacity, and experience.

We began operating in the country in 1996 and currently are the operators of the La Pampilla refinery — the largest in the country and one of the most important in Latin America.

Our activity has been focused on our Upstream business since 1995 and the discovery we made here in 2017 was the greatest in gas volumes in the last six years.

We came to Venezuela in 1993 to develop our Upstream business and we currently manage several crude oil and gas assets there in the development and production phase.
