We present our range of innovative products and strategic projects at the WIRE
We return to the Wire 2024 fair in Düsseldorf, the most important in the cable and wire sector. At our stand, full of new features, we have presented our wide range of products, which stand out for our commitment to sustainability, innovation, and developing strategic projects for the sector's future.
During the fair, we offered our customers innovative solutions with high and low-density polyethylene grades for cable insulation, as well as the Repsol Primeva® and Repsol Ebantix® ranges of EVA (ethylene vinyl acetate) and EBA (ethylene butyl acrylate) copolymer grades respectively, for compounds and semiconductives.
In addition, we have presented the Repsol Reciclex® range for polyolefins that allow us, through mechanical and chemical recycling, to give a second life to products, as well as first-generation bio-based and second-generation bio-circular alternatives, in line with our industrial transformation process to lead the energy transition and achieve net zero emissions by 2050.
At Wire 2024 we have also presented our company's strategic projects in the cable sector. The Edison project, an investment in the Tarragona complex to build a high (HV) and extra high voltage (EHV) plant that will come into operation at the end of 2025, will allow the production of cross-linkable polyethylene, a key polymer for cable insulation.
And finally, our project to expand the Sines complex, will allow us to produce linear low-density polyethylene for cable insulation when it comes into operation at the end of 2025.
The fair has been an excellent opportunity to show our clients the competitive advantages of Repsol.
