Ana Jimeno de la Casa has a degree in Information Science from Complutense University of Madrid. She also has a master's degree in Human Resources from IE Business School and studied the Program for Management Development (PMD) at IESE Business School.
She joined Repsol in 1987, holding several positions in both operational and management roles, mainly in the People and Organization area. Here she has held positions of responsibility in expert areas such as Internal Communication and Labor Relations, as well as supporting the company's different businesses. In August 2009 she moved to Peru to occupy the role of Manager of People and Organization for R&M in the Pacific and Brazil, and in 2013 she was named Director of Selection, Performance and Development with the Repsol Group.
In May 2017 she became the Director of People and Organization for the Industrial Area, which includes Repsol Chemicals, Repsol Petroleum, and the executive divisions of Engineering and Optimization and Analysis of the Company's Downstream business. As part of this role, she is responsible for providing support to executive management in overseeing human resources in this Executive Management Division, which comprises 7,000 professionals who are mainly spread out across the five industrial complexes and the headquarters which is based in Madrid.
