Repsol's corporate headquarters becomes the first large office building in Spain, and one of the first of its size in Europe, to be awarded the LEED® Platinum certificate.
This certificate is the highest distinction awarded by the prestigious U.S. Green Building Council, which guarantees that the entire building was designed and constructed to the strictest sustainability criteria.
With this project, Repsol takes a substantial step forward in sustainability and goes far beyond traditional building approaches.
To obtain the certificate, aspects such as the sustainability of the site, the ease of using eco-efficient transport, and the use of recycled materials are evaluated.
The certificate recognises the positive impact on the well-being of its occupants and the environment, lower operating costs, improved marketability of the building and its organisation, increased productivity of its occupants and the creation of a sustainable community.
Repsol Campus is the only business campus in central Madrid. This is a cutting edge project in terms of accessibility, sustainability and security, with a large central garden and many services for company employees, such as a gym, medical centre, cafeterias, etc.
