Our human rights commitment is laid out in our Code of Business Ethics and Conduct, Policy on Respect for Human Rights, Policy on People Management, Corporate Security Policy and in our policies concerning relations with communities.
All of these policies are based on international standards such as the Principles of the United Nations Global Compact, the fundamental principles and rights at work, and Convention 169 of the International Labor Organization (ILO), the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises, and the International Association of Oil and Gas Producers (OGP) guidelines. We work to implement the United Nations "Protect, Respect, and Remedy" framework by applying the "Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights".
We strive to prevent our activities or decisions having negative repercussions on human rights.
We have internal training courses available to educate our team on basic human rights concepts.
Repsol uses all available means to ensure that our partners, contractors and providers also respect human rights.
Protecting people and facilities in the critical sector in which we work must be compatible with respect for human rights.
