ADOC Cogeneración gas

We meet your needs with large used engines for Cogeneration

Just by regularly analyzing samples of your lubricating oil, the ADOC Cogeneración Gas system evaluates the condition of your engines by detecting any possible faults. This allows us to prevent possible breakdowns.

What is ADOC Cogeneración Gas?

It is an exclusive Repsol service. By analyzing the oil, we can determine the condition of and changes in your engines, issuing an appropriate diagnosis in each case. The most important parameters of the lubricant are evaluated, adapting the tests to the requirements of engine manufacturers.

ADOC Cogeneración gas was developed to meet the growing demand of customers with large gas-fueled engines used for cogeneration. It takes into account the peculiarities of the lubricants that are specially designed for these engines and the fuel used, in addition to the special maintenance plans applied to this industrial sector.

How can I use this service?

If you are already a Repsol customer and want to use the ADOC Cogeneración Gas system, all you have to do is contact Repsol's sales team. Your sales representative will provide all the necessary information to start using the system, send samples, and consult results reports.

Registering a sample in the web app and sending samples

You can register the samples that you will subsequently send to the laboratory for analysis on the web app. You must provide all the information requested in the app that is required to process the sample and issue a diagnosis, including customer details, facility, engine, oil data, number of hours of use, daily replenishment information, and any other information regarding the lubricated machine.

Sending the sample by post

Repsol will provide you with the following items:

  • Special containers for sample taking.
  • Labels with barcodes to identify the samples.
  • Cards to send information on each sample, with the instructions to be followed when taking the sample.
  • Postage-paid envelopes to send the samples to our laboratories.

If you send the samples by post, you must provide all the information requested in the card that is required to process the sample and issue a diagnosis, including customer details, facility, engine, oil data, number of hours of use, daily replenishment information, and any other information regarding the lubricated machine. Next, you must put the bottle and the card inside the approved postage-paid envelope, ensuring that the sample is correctly closed, and send it by post.

Receipt and processing of the samples at the laboratory

The samples received and their cards are registered at the laboratory. Each oil sample is classified and entered into the system with a barcode scanner and the information from the card is entered into our database.

Consult the results interactively

There are two different ways that you can consult the results of the analyses: through email or directly on the interactive portal services.

What information does it provide?

A report containing the current results and those of previous samples. The system issues a diagnosis mentioning any abnormal results, presenting the possible causes of the failure and, lastly, suggesting possible alternatives to verify the failures or actions to be carried out to repair them. If the report is completely normal, the system suggests lengthening or shortening the oil change interval or provides data for sending a new sample.
