Repsol wins Petroleum Economists Corporate Social Responsibility Programme of the Year Award

  • Repsol has been recognized by the committee of experts from Petroleum Economist, one sector’s leading publications, as the best company in the Corporate Social Responsibility category.
  • The award recognizes Repsol's work and commitment in Corporate Social Responsibility, specifically its sustainable and accessible service stations project.
  • Repsol has more than 700 sustainable and accessible service stations, and was the first company in the world to obtain the BREEAM certification for sustainable buildings.
  • Repsol's executive marketing director, Antonio Calçada, said: “This award tells us we're doing things properly and motivates us even more to continue working and innovating.”
  • The Petroleum Economist Awards recognize the best leaders, companies, and projects in the sector. In 2014 Repsol's Antonio Brufau, was recognized by Petroleum Economist as the best CEO of the year, and Repsol was named the best energy company.
