Repsol YPF discovers gas in Algerian Sahara

The first well yielded a preliminary production rate of 636,000 m3/day and the second 100,000 m3/day.
Repsol YPF has prepared an ambitious exploration plan for the area, that is currently being implemented.
Repsol YPF recently formed a joint venture with Gas Natural and Sonatrach for the construction of a liquefied natural gas plant in Algeria.
