María Victoria Zingoni is currently the Executive Managing Director of Commercial Businesses and Chemicals, Chairwoman of Repsol Electricity and Gas, and a member of the Executive Committee. She manages the Chemicals, Mobility, Gas Wholesale and Trading, LPG, Lubricants, Asphalts and Specialized Products, Renewables, and Electricity & Gas businesses. Her work is focused on identifying acquisition and business development opportunities, as well as liaising with local authorities.
From May 2015 to December 2018 she was Executive Managing Director of Downstream, leading the business' expansion and transformation which culminated in the creation of our electricity business.
In November 2018 she became Chairwoman of Repsol Electricity and Gas, a position from which she works to meet the challenges of making progress towards achieving the ambitious objectives set by Repsol in the development of a low-emissions operated electrical company, both in power generation and retail electricity and gas.
She joined Repsol in 1999. After a decade in the Upstream business, she was appointed Director of Investor Relations in 2008. During her time at the helm of this division, Repsol received various international awards for its management of investor relations.
From 2013 to 2015 and as Corporate Director of Finance, María Victoria Zingoni was responsible for the Company's financial development and control, as well as the management and control of financial risk. In February 2014, she oversaw the sale to investors of bonds issued by the Argentine government as compensation for the renationalization of YPF. In January 2015, due to her profile and extensive expertise in the business, she was tapped to coordinate the project to integrate the Canadian company, Talisman.
In addition, Zingoni is Chair of Petrocat (Societat Catalana de Petrolis), Chair of RCPP (Repsol Comercial de Productos Petroleros), and member of the board at Petronor (Petróleos del Norte). She is also vice-chair of the Spanish Energy Club, where she represents Repsol.
Maria Victoria Zingoni is a national public accountant certified by the National University of Comahue in Neuquén, Argentina.
