What the installation consists of
Basically, gas installation consists of a storage unit made up of a set of 35 kg cylinders (located inside a shed) or 11 kg cylinders (usually located on the customer's terrace), as well as an external and internal network connecting the appliances.
Each 35 kg cylinder is 30 cm in diameter and 143 cm in total height. The cylinders are equipped with an IESA-type valve at the top, with a safety valve, protected by a collar or metal ring all around. At the bottom, they have a base ring to ensure stability.
The cylinders basically comprise the following:
- Metal framework with treatment for galvanized exteriors, with two collector pipes of 3 or 5 intakes and connections for inverter which are also galvanized.
- Inverter.
- Pressure regulator.
- Reserve service indicator.
- 6 sweeps (for 3+3 sets) or 10 sweeps (for 5+5 sets).
- 6 Antireturns (for 3+3 sets) or 10 antireturns (for 5+5 sets).
- 6 flow regulators (for 3+3 sets) or 10 flow regulators (for 5+5 sets), external network of 10-12. millimetre copper piping, including a 20/150 shut-off valve and an intermediate 20/150 double nut.
The internal equipment consists of:
- Copper piping measuring 10/12 millimetres.
- Double safety device regulator.
- Connection of supply points, with separate shutoff valves for each device.
