The Repsol Petrochemical Terminal began operating in 1981, comprising two jetties. With depths of up to 11 metres, the terminal is capable of receiving ships of up to 20,000 m3 capacity.

It is connected by pipeline network to Repsol Polímeros petrochemical complex in the harbour area as well as to the petrochemical complex outside the Port’s area – at about 7 km.

The Repsol Terminal is a dedicated petrochemical terminal operated by Repsol on a concession of the Port of Sines Administration (APS).

The Repsol terminals are part of the Port of Sines that run by the “Administração do Porto de Sines (APS)”, which owns the port area and is responsible for safe navigation and maintenance of port infrastructure. The Port safety System and Environmental protection standards are fully ISO compliant as well as aplyable international regulations.
