Loading & discharging procedures

1. Arms / hoses connection

Disconnection/connection of loading arms / hoses will be carried out by  terminal operators. Where hoses are provided  ships derrick will be used and crew cooperation will be necessary

2. COW

Permission from port authority is required. Masters declaration must be signed on arrival and prior any operation. A cow surveyor of Repsol-YPF will be on board attending the ship while cow is carried out.

3. Operation plan

Before any operation starts ship's staff will discuss and document the operation plan arrangements in accordance with the terminal representative. Rates, pressures, sequencies, and all information related to the operations must be agreed and fulfilled at any time.

4. Jetties & wharfs particulars

Keys:

  • S.D.W: Summer Dead Weight.
  • L.O.A: Length Over All (Typical).
  • E.B: Extreme Breadth (Typical).
  • M.D: Maximum Draught (3).
  • M.F: Maximum Freeboard.
  • C.M.H: Cubic Meters per Hour.
  • A.D: Air Draft.

(1) Port Authorities limits te maximum draught of vessels entering harbour to 15.5 m.
(2) For crude oil and bunker, maximun freeboard + manifold (standard) = 20 m.
(3) For rest of grades, maximum free board + manifold (standard) = 17.5 m.
