Vessels restriction requirements

1. Vessel must have been properly cleared and accepted by REPSOL’S Vetting Department in accordance with the appropriate lifting procedure.

2. Vessel must keep informed the Terminal given proper notices through the ship's Agent. Repsol Terminal will notify to the Authorities and ship's Agent the Vessel's assigned berth.

• Master will "always" follow the Cartagena Port Control and Pilots instructions to proceed to the berth.

3. The use of inert gas is OBLIGATORY for all cargoes with a flashpoint equal to or less than 60ºC.
All vessels which load, discharge or transport flammable cargoes should arrive at the terminal with their tanks made inert and maintain the tanks in an inert condition throughout the operations.
The terminal does not provide inert gas so the vessel must maintain the inert condition by its own means.

4. Vessel with cargo in transit must inform the grade and quantity of it, through the Pre-arrival Information Document and enclosing the Material Safety Data Sheet of the product. Terminal cannot accept BENZENE and PHENOL contents in cargo transit. Products in transit having a flash-point below 60ºC must be inerted.
In any case all cargoes in transit should be informed to Repsol Vetting in order to previously acceptance.

5. Vessel must be in good state of repair and all equipment properly functioning prior to proceeding to berth. Vessel must be presented in every respect ready to load product at temperature and pressure in accordance with notice.

6. Vessel will not be acceptable for loading unless the tanks to be loaded and ship's piping are accepted by the Independent Inspector of the cargo. Cleanliness or venting operations of ship's tanks are not allowed at the Terminal.

7. Vessel must fit OCIMF standards for mooring equipments, and must be able to receive product at normal loading rates, pressures and temperatures as for average vessels of similar size and service. Loading restrictions due to vessel condition or equipment will be accounted for and deducted from any demurrage claim.

8. Vessels must comply with IMO / Solas - Marpol Regulations; OCIMF / ISGOTT and CEE Directives 1981 and October 5th 1993.
