In the field of special containers, high density polyethylene plays a major role. The Repsol plants of Puertollano and Tarragona (both in Spain) use the Phillips technology (loop reactor with agitation) and the Sines plant (Portugal) uses Mitsui technology (agitated tank) for the production of Hdpe which is distributed under the registered brand: Alcudia
Repsol has a wide range of products, as far as density and viscosity are concerned, that cover a great spectrum of types of containers, and with capacities ranging from millilitres to containers of more than 4000 litres.
