Anti-drip tests

Two types of tests exist: accelerated tests in the laboratory and field tests.

In the first ones, the films are placed in a closed structure. In the inferior part of the structure, a thermostatic bath full of water is placed that stays at a constant temperature of 50ºC to get an abundant condensation on the film. Every so often the appearance of samples is observed and its anti-dripping quality is classified according to the scale that appears on the chart. The film is considered to maintain its anti-dripping properties when 50% of its surface presents a quality better than C.

In the field tests the procedure is similar, but under the real conditions of use of the film as a greenhouse cover.
