Located in the Arturo Merino Benítez airport (SCL) of Santiago, the company began operating in October 1998. It is in service 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The aviation business unit has a staff of eight people with a vast experience in the aviation sector: an aviation managing officer, a head of plant and six operators.
The aviation business unit is responsible for planning and fuel acquisition, marketing and the IntoPlane service, in addition to the entire process of stock control, invoicing and providing price information to the different airlines.
The Chilean air plant has four fuel supply units for aviation kerosene (JP1); two Garsite units and two Bosserman units. The 4 Ford F-350 7.3-litre turbo diesel chassis - two from 1998, one from 2000 and one from 2006 - employ the latest technology and are the most modern of the Santiago de Chile airport (SCL).
These fuel supply units allow us to serve a range of aircraft, from executive-type turbpropeller (overwings) to wide fuselage planes, and including the B-747, military aircraft of type C-5 or the Russian ANTONOV.
Operating two units simultaneously for the same plane gives us a delivery capacity of approximately 5,200 L per minute, limited by the delivery capacity of the SIAV storage plant, given that the units are designed for a capacity of approximately 800 and 900 USG per min. (6,400 L)
We stand out at this airport for providing a timely service, an important requisite for commercial airlines. Our department works under the slogan "The client should never have to wait".
At present, we supply some of the main international airlines operating to and from Santiago.
In addition to providing the IntoPlane service, the staff of this department is also in charge of the maintenance of the Air Plant and the fuel supply units, both with respect to automotive mechanics and the programming and review of the hydration system of the fuel supply units, in compliance with the airport fuel quality control guidelines (JIG).
