Repsol participates in the promotion of aviation sports activities.

Air tours

The Autonomous Communities of Spain celebrate the Spanish Rally Championship throughout the year. The main air tours which take place are as follows:

• Air tour of Spain
• Air tour of Catalonia
• Air tour of the Former Kingdom of Aragon
• Air tour of  Galicia     

These exercises are carried out according to the regulations laidout by the International Air Federation (FAI) and the Spanish Aeronautical Federation (FAE). Approximately 50 airplanes from Spain's Autonomous Communities and the rest of the European Union take part in the events. Institutions such as the Spanish Military Aviation also take part. Spanish acrobatics championship

An aviation competition day is held every year in a different location. The competition categories are as follows:

• Simple acrobatics
• Team acrobatics
• Free style 
• Compulsory     

The country's leading acrobatic pilots compete for a championship which potentially holds the key to European championships.

The Red Bull Cup

In May, Repsol sponsored the Spanish edition of the Red Bull Cup in Barcelona.
