The Official services centres are companies with legal authorization to fit gas installations. They put the most modern tecnical means and the most highly qualified personnel at your disposal.

-How can I have my installation checked?

-What do I have to do to cancel my supply contract?
Once you have notified your distributor of your request to cancel your supply contract, the procedure is as follows (one of the following):
- The delivery person will pick the bottles up from your home and return your original deposit as stated in your contract.
- The delivery person will pick the bottles up from your home and give you a receipt. As the contract holder you must then take this receipt and the supply certificate to your distributor in order to cancel the contract and receive your deposit back.
- You return the bottles to your distributor's warehouse and then take the return receipt and supply certificate to your distributor to cancel the contract and receive your deposit.

-Is it obligatory to have my system checked?
If you have a bottled LPG system, you must keep it in perfect safety conditions.This obligation is set out in the Royal Law, 1085/1992 of September 11th, which approves the Liquid Petroleum Gas Regulation of Distribution Activities which, in Article 22 establishes a set of obligations for those with gas supply contracts.
It also states that holders must have their systems checked once every five years by a legally authorized company.

-How can I ensure the technician who checks my installation is an official Repsol Butano technician?
Repsol Butano Official services meet our customer needs with regards to the installation and maintenance of new systems.
There is one Official service for each area. If you receive a visit from a Repsol Butano technician, we recommend that you call our Customer service centre at 901-100-100 or consult repsolypf.com to make sure he really does work for our Official services.

-How can I contract the gas supply service?
If your installations use bottled butane or propane and you would like to contract our supply service, you will need to provide the following documentation:
- A photocopy of your ID card or, for companies, a photocopy of your last tax receipt for commercial and professional activities.
- For new homes, a photocopy of the ownership transfer or an equivalent document from your region.
- The gas installation certificate or system suitability certificate. This is not required if your system is not a recipient (consumption devices without fixed installation).
- The heating installation certificate accompanied by the OTC (competent regional authority) registration if necessary.
- The construction plans endorsed by the corresponding Official Association, a copy of the OTC registration, the work management certificate, and an installation diagram for the following:
A. For 35 kg propane cylinders, if there are more than 10 connected cylinders at the same time (consumption plus reserve).
B. For 11 kg propane or 12.5 kg butane cylinders, if there are more than 18 cylinders of propane or 16 cylinders of butane.
C. For individual installations with nominal power for simultaneous use exceeding 70 kW.
- Once your documents are ready, contact your local distributor, who will arrange for a Repsol service technician to inspect your gas installation. This is the "pre-contract inspection".
- Once your system has been approved for gas use, take the appropriate documentation to your distributor to sign your gas supply service contract.
-How do I know when it is time to have my butane installation checked?
Repsol Butano sends a letter to each of its clients every 5 years after their last butane installation check. Our Official service technicians will then contact you to see if you are interested in booking an appointment to have your installation checked.
However, if you would like to have your butane system checked, there is no need to wait until you hear from Repsol. You can request an inspection at
repsolypf.com or call our Customer service centre on 901-100-100.
-How do I change the name on the gas supply contract?
To change the person named on your gas supply contract, call your local distributor. They will ask you for the installation certificate and the suitability certificate or the latest inspection certificate, and then arrange an appointment to have a technician check your installation.
Once your system has been inspected, your distributor will ask you to complete an updated contract. You will be charged solely for the cost of the technician's visit.

-How long is my installation check valid for?
The check performed on your gas installation is valid for 5 years. This period is established in the Royal Law, 1085/1992 of September 11th, regarding the Regulation of Liquid Petroleum Gas Distribution Activities.
-How can I order bottles?
To order butane or propane cylinders, contact your local distributor.You may order by phone, via your distributor, or in person at your distribution outlet. If you do not have your distributor's address or telephone number, you can find it by calling the Customer helpline on 901-100-100, or by using the
distribution outlet
