Air conditioning equipment

To condition the air is to adapt the temperature, relative humidity, air purity, (dust, odours, bacteria etc.) and, at times, presssure conditions inside a premises or house, etc. according to the exterior atmospheric conditions, in order to make the atmosphere inside the building more comfortable.

The demand for year-round comfort has become increasingly noticeable both in the tertiary sector and in domestic situations. It is not limited to just heating premises during the winter, but means air-conditioning buildings throughout the the year, with the aim of maintaining the atmospheric conditions within a satisfactory range for its occupants, in terms of comfort.

An air conditioning system is made up of elements and equipment put together in order to heat or cool, humidify or dehumidify, clean, purify and transport the outside air to climatise the inside, with optimum energy use. An air conditioning system that runs on gas provides a greater performance, or, in the worst of cases, a performance equal to that of other systems. Gas systems maintain a high performance, even when the heating or cooling requirements only account for a small part of the total power installed, with the consequent energy-saving. The electrical power that the user would require to run the air conditioning system can be used in other ways, or simply eliminated.
