It is estimated that there is a consumption of 40 litres per person, per day at 45°C (for the average standard of living). The heat consumption for HSW is approximately the same for all climate zones, but it varies depending upon the energy source used. Supposing that there is an average of four people living in each home, the consumption in therms/year for the different energy sources would be as shown in the following table:
