What advantages do Efitec petrols offer?
The new Efitec petrols are marketed with a low content in sulphur or, as with the case of the new Efitec 98, free of sulphur (<10 ppm). Apart from the incorporation of exclusive latest generation additives, which guarantees cleaning running, lower polluting emissions, lower consumption and an optimum performance of the engine.
 
In which type of vehicles is it recommended to use the new Efitec 95 petrol?
The new Efitec 95 can be used in any type of vehicle made after 1989.  In older vehicles the need to add an additive which protects against the wearing away of valves should be checked. 
Efitec 98 is recommended for vehicles with latest generation engines.

In which type of vehicles is it recommended to use the new Efitec 98 petrol?
It is recommended to use the new Efitec 98 in latest generation petrol engines, in whose instructions manual where it is recommended to use a 98 octane petrol or with a content in sulphur lower than 10 ppm (sulphur free).

Is it compatible with other types of petrol?
Yes. However, the benefits of the new Efitec petrol are appreciated with a constant use over a long period of time.

The Efitec range of petrol are sold at Repsol, Campsa and Petronor Service Stations.

What are the main differences between Efitec 95 and Efitec 98?
The level of sulphur and the octane index. The octane number 98 is associated to the anti-detonating capacity of the petrol, the 98 octane takes advantage of the engines which run at greater relations of compression. The Efitec 98 petrol is sulphur-free and allows the consumption needed to be reduced in order to regenerate the catalytic converters of nitrogen oxide absorption in latest generation cars.

Can other products be added to the new Efitec petrols?
Due to the optimum level of additives in Efitec 95 and Efitec 98, it is unnecessary to add any other products. In fact, adding other products could destabilize the optimised composition of Efitec petrols. 

Is fuel saved with the new Efitec petrols?
As Efitec 98 is a sulphur-free petrol, it favours the performance of the catalytic converter of nitrogen oxide absorption and reducing not only polluting emissions, but also fuel consumption of latest generation engines.
