Waxes for paper and cardboard
Redecoat® are waxes formulated with specific additives to be used in paper coating and for strengthening the internal layer of corrugated cardboard.
Repsol YPF Lubricantes y Especialidades S.A also has a range of emulsion-based paraffins for the same application, which are mainly used when a low weight is required.
Both the waxes and emulsions meet prevailing legislation on products which have contact with food.
Presentation:
The Redecoat® pearls are available in 25 kg. palletized paper bags, 24 tonnnes net per lorry or 12.5 tonnes net per 20 ft. shipping container. The Redecoat® are also available in five slabs, packed in cardboard boxes weighing approximately 25 kg.
Active packaging
RYCOAT F-100 in solid form and EMULACTIV c-1 in emulsion, are waxes which once applied to paper or cardboard boxes, prevent the spread of harmful agents and lengthen the life of the fruits and vegetables transported. This new packaging also preserves the anti-humidity barrier properties and is known as active packaging.
Presentation:
Rycoat F-100: is a pearl and is available in 25 Kg. bags or in small drums.
Emulactiv C1: is a watery emulsion and is available in containers or drums.
