Oil Coke

Oil coke is principally used as a fuel in the cement and ceramics industries. It is increasingly used by electricity companies to generate power from its combustion. The coke produced is relatively low-priced when compared to fuel-oil or natural gas.

This type of coke is mainly used as a fuel. However, it does have another use which, although not widely known, has a great deal of potential. It consists of mixing it with clay to facilitate the burning process.
