The Feria de Muestras de Valladolid exhibition centre will be the setting for the Foro Internacional del Transporte Rural that begins on 21st April. An event organised by Fenebús and the Junta de Castilla y León, in collaboration with GMV who will hold debates on the problems associated with transport in rural situations.
The first Foro Internacional de Transporte Rural will consist of three workshops, with lectures and debates about the problems affecting transport rural, at the same time there will be explanations of the different experiences seen in Spanish regions - comunidades autónomas - and the projects closely linked to the subject of an international character.
The first workshop at this international forum will see input from, in addition to other specialists, Juan Luis de las Rivas, architect and Town Planning lecturer at the Universidad de Valladolid, Juan de Oña, lecturer in the Engineering Department of the Universidad de Granada and José Luis Pertierra, Director of Fenebús.
The second, dedicated to experiences at national level, will see Juan Miguel Sánchez, Director of Land Transport at the Ministerio de Fomento, as the moderator of the discussion. The third and final workshop which rounds off the international forum, will be dedicated to the analysis and debate of the international experiences experienced in rural transport, with important guests like Matthias Ruette, part of the management team at the European Commission`s Transport and Energy Department.
