Vespa presens its LX Touring model
One of the big bets from the Italian Vespa firm for 2010 is, without a doubt, its new special LX Touring series, which comes with two engine options, 50cc and 125cc respectively. A new series that restates the purest Vespa styling with its contours and details.
The new special series of the Vespa LX Touring clearly backs the unmistakeable retro style that has characterised models made by the Italian company over the last few years. The new LX Touring from Vespa comes in just one colour scheme; Terra di Toscana brown, and includes a string of details that emphasise it as a machine with a travelling vocation.
Among these details on the new Vespa LX Touring is a chromed rack as standard, a side stand that is very practical when parking and a seat that has been made with a new generation of materials, and which has the same colour scheme as the bike itself. Elegant, practical and urban are the three adjectives that define this new bike from Vespa.
Turning to the engines, the new LX Touring comes with two units, one of 50cc which is a two-stroke, the other is a 125cc 4 stroke with electronic injection. Moreover it is also environmentally friendly as it complies with EU norms concerning polluting emissions.
