This was a must-see a model at the 80th edition of the Geneva International Car Show, and will be put on sale next May. The new Alfa Romeo Giulietta is, without a doubt, one of the most notable new cars seen so far in 2010, it combines dynamism with a high level of interior comfort.
Over the last few days the new Giulietta was, without a doubt, the centre of attention for all visitors to the Alfa Romeo stand where it has been on show during the Geneva International Car Show. This was one of several premieres at this year`s show in Switzerland, and is a car that is about to be launched onto the market. This is because the company itself has confirmed that it will be at dealers in May.
The new Alfa Romeo Giulietta is the key part in the company`s desire to relaunch the Italian firm in the compact niche around Europe in 2010. It is a 5 door hatchback which maintains the easily-recognisable identifying features of Alfa Romeo vehicles on its contours and was created by the Centro Stile Alfa Romeo which has also retained a pure Italian styling.
The new Giulietta is expected to be launched with four engine options, two petrol and two diesel. On the one hand the former will be a 1.4 unit, with peak powers of 120bhp and 170bhp, and on the other, two diesel units, a 1.6 and a 2.0, peaking at 105bhp and 170bhp respectively.
