The new engines for the Seat León and Altea ranges arrive

Seat has prepared for 2010 the addition of new engine units for the Altea and León models. With this update of the engine range on these two Seat cars the aim is to offer the client more options so that potential clients can choose the one that best suits their needs

The most notable of the new engines for the León range is the 1.2 TSI which peaks at 105bhp, a unit that replaces the 1.6 102bhp unit. this new unit has a much improved performance compared to the previous option and at the same time lowers the levels of polluting emissions by more than 20%. This new engine, the 1.2 TSI 105bhp, is introduced onto the Reference trim.

The Altea range gets the new 1.2 TSI 105bhp on the Reference and Style trims on two models, the Altea and Altea XL. This new unit replaces the 1.6 102bhp as it provides more performance and a significant reduction in emissions. And it also gets the 1.6 TDI CR 105bhp with DSG 7 speed transmission.

And there is more, the Altea Freetrack now has a wider range of engines available and offers 5 engines instead of the 3 available up to now. So the new 1.6 TDI CR 105bhp unit is available on the Altea freetrack 2WD, as well as the 1.4 TSI 125bhp. Referring to the equipment options on both the León and Altea ranges, there are no variations,
