A mechanism equipped with a thermostat is a control system which enables you to deactivate or activate an electric circuit depending on the temperature.
These devices maintain the degree of heat and even humidity, if they are designed to do so, at a specified level. Technology has brought many different types of thermostat: digital, analogue, mechanical, electronic, proportional, with one or more phases... A chronothermostat is a device which regulates, controls and adjusts the power of the boiler depending on the room temperature, the desired temperature and the time. It combines a clock function and thermostat function in a single device. These latest generation mechanisms can save up to 3% more energy than a normal thermostat. The saving compared to a system without a thermostat may be as much as 20%.
Fitting radiators with thermostatic valves regulates the heat in each and every one of them. They deactivate those which are in rooms with greater solar radiation and activate those in north-facing rooms or those in the shade.
