External involvement and working groups

Repsol partners with various national and international organisations, through its involvement in committees, working groups and forums in order to become more competitive and improve on all aspects of corporate social responsibility.

Civil Society Organisations 
We collaborate with civic, voluntary civic and social institutions - such as the Once Foundation and the Red Cross - to support actions such as the basic development of disadvantaged people, social integration for differently-abled people, gender equality, transparency and environmental protection. 

Industrial Associations 
We are involved with private organisations in the energy sector, such as IPIECA (International Petroleum Industry Environmental Conservation Association), Arpel (Regional Association of Oil and Natural Gas in Latin America and the Caribbean), OGP (International Association of & Oil Gas Producers) and CONCAWE (Conservation of Clean Air and Water for Europe), mainly through working groups and committees that seek improvements in areas such as energy efficiency, security, environmental protection and social responsibility in general. 

International Organisations
We are involved with international organisations like the United Nations Global Compact and the EITI (Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative), both in carrying out their initiatives and participating in working groups. 

Multi-Stakeholder Initiatives 
We collaborate with various business and professional associations, ministries, programmes and projects, such as the CRF (Corporate Reputation Forum), European Charter for Road Safety, AEC (Spanish Association for Quality) and Proteus 2012, through our participation in committees, working groups and forums.
