One core idea: corporate security

We operate in over 30 countries and undertake operations in sensitive areas which means that corporate security must function side-by-side with the company's many business activities.

At Repsol, we are constantly striving to improve our corporate security management processes. In order to achieve this, we have a Corporate Security Policy in place that defines the rules, procedures and guides that enable us to carry out the processes and activities required to guarantee that the integrity of Repsol's people and assets are protected.

In this policy, Repsol establishes its commitment to corporate security and related principles to protect people from any outside threat, respecting human rights and regulating the use of weapons in security and protection.

Training and raising awareness about human rights is a priority for Repsol.

Corporate Security

Voluntary Principles on Security and Human Rights
These are applied in our relations with public security forces and in hiring private security.

Operations in sensitive areas
Proper risk management for operations in sensitive areas is of fundamental importance for our activities.

Our relations with public and private security
We require that our security providers meet the criteria in line with our policies and international standards.
